King or Fail

King or Fail is an excellent action-adventure video game where players control a character who has proclaimed himself king of his own self-sufficient island. To make it grow and prosper, you must cut down trees, construct buildings, unlock land, earn money and, little by little, get other characters to move to your island and set out to conquer new lands.

The gameplay in King or Fail is as follows: you start on a small piece of land with only a few pine trees and bushes with berries. By cutting down these trees (which luckily regenerate very quickly), you can accumulate the wood necessary to unlock a new building that will allow you, for example, to transform berries into money, create a town hall so that other people can register on your island and even create a training space for soldiers who you can send out to conquer new territories.

To unlock a territory, you must conquer it in battle. For this, you need to upgrade your soldiers and to upgrade your soldiers, you'll need to improve your island by collecting raw materials, constructing new buildings, trading products, and so on. The idea is to keep your hard work and production of materials constant to make your island grow. Plus, at a certain point, you can start hiring workers to do some of the work for you.
